What a pleasant night for high school football in Medford, Oregon. My wife an I went to the South Medford Panther game with the Sprague Olympians from Salem. We saw a lot of old friends.South Medford won 42 to 14 but it was closer than the score. At halftime South Medford had only scored 7 points to Sprague's 14 and looked anemic. South Medford could very well have been down two touchdowns. About halfway through the 3rd quarter South Medford caught fire and the roof fell in on Sprague. The large crowd went wild as the team stepped it up. Go Panthers!
