Our son was notified he has been admitted into the PhD graduate program in History at a "boarder state" university that has an Oregonian as it's head football coach! "Boarder state" is significant as his area of interest is the politics of American History in the time of the Civil War.They also awarded him a scholarship! Congratulations Son! In May he will receive his Masters Degree from a Midwest University. His Masters thesis is on William H Seward,(picture above) Abraham Lincoln's Secretary of State and member of his Cabinet. His Mom and I will be attending his graduation. We are proud parents!
