I know it is outdated but my favorite symbol of the Oregon Ducks is the above picture of the Duck coming out of the "O." The Oregon Athletic Department with the help of the folks at Nike have been promoting the new "O" as the symbol that they want to use to identify University of Oregon Athletics. They believe it has more universal appeal particularly to young "out of state" athletes. They also don't need to pay royalties to Disney. I like he new "O" but I still love the Duck coming out of the "O".
This year I promised myself I would just watch the Oregon football games and relax and enjoy the moment and not focus too much on winning and loosing. Ha, right!
