Yesterday, we got good news from both of our adult children. One of them called after attending a banquet to tell us of an award he or she had won and the other called to say he or she was coming home in a few weeks for a long weekend to go to the Oregon State vs Oregon "Civil War" football game with their dad in Eugene. My wife was happy because now she will not have to sit out in the cold/rainy/fogy/pouring rain ( one or all ) of the described weather conditions, to watch the "Civil War" game. We are proud of them both. All in all, a good day.
