In the past, on this blog, I have given Oregonian newspaper reporter, Rachel Bachman, a bad time for her anti Phil Knight reports on the Oregon Ducks. However, in today's Oregonian she has a well researched report on new Oregon Athletic Director, Jay Mullens, that has information not previously reported. I particularly like the part, when he was a young child from a family with meager resources in West Virginia, and his desire for a pair of Nike shoes.
