Last night I watched the last show of the British TV series "Foyles War". Thanks to my Netflix account and the Jackson County Library I have this summer watched all 7 seasons of the show ending with "The Hide" episode last night. The end left me wanting more as the now retired Detective Foyle left for "unfinished business" in the United States. In addition, the script writer left us hanging on whether Foyle was the father of a World War II British Spy who he may have fathered as a young man near the end of World War I with a married nurse while he was recovering from his war injuries.? I hope there is a season 8 ? Watching the last show was like saying goodbye to an old friend.
