The Valerie Plane Rule

Former Senator Zell Miller has come up with a new rule that should be enacted at the CIA. He states: "We need a Plame rule. Any family member of a CIA agent tapped to help out must live by the same rules regarding information disclosure and domestic political manipulations as those imposed on the agent. If the family member fails to live by those rules, the agent is terminated." His point is that Valerie Plane couldn't attack the Bush administration since she worked in some capacity for the CIA. However she could talk the agency in to using her husband by sending him, Joe Wilson, on a CIA mission. He then use the alleged information he gained on that trip to attack the President. Valerie Plaine thus was able to use her husband as a straw man. Very sneaky. As usual Senator Miller hits the nail on the head. Read the entire article by Senator Miller click on the tilt above.
