Howe Wins "Pants on Fire" Ruling

You have heard the phrase: "liar, liar, pants on fire." The liberal Portland Oregonian Newspaper has awarded Lynn Howe a "pants on fire" ruling for her campaign allegation against Sal Esquivel that he had proposed a bill in the Oregon Legislature to put a sales tax on food.

Lynn Howe is running against Sal Esquivel the incumbent for the Oregon House of Representatives, District 6, which includes much of Medford, Oregon. The Portland Oregonian has been investigating campaign charges and then issuing a "ruling" on their "Truth-O-Meter" that the charge is, "True","Mostly True","Half True", "Barely True", "False" and "Pants on Fire." To date, in the entire state, the Oregonian has only awarded four "Pants on Fire" rulings and Lynn Howe is the recipient of one of those rulings.
