Coach K visits Medford, Oregon

South Medford High in Medford Oregon has a highly recruited Junior basketball player named Kyle Singler.(he also plays football) He was being recruited even as a sophomore. Last year Ernie Kent, the head basketball coach at the University of Oregon showed up for one of his high school games. Two weeks ago Ernie Kent came back to Medford and sat with Kyle's Dad at a luncheon meeting of the Medford Linebackers, a group of community members that support local high school sports. Medford is the hotbed of high school sports in Oregon. This last Tuesday coach Mike Krzyzewski aka Coach "K" of Duke ( yes, the one in North Carolina a long way from Medford Oregon) showed up to visit South Medford High School where Kyle Singer is a student.
