Nike Donating Commemorative T-Shirt for Oregon's Spring Football Game

The following is part of a PR release from the Oregon Athletic Department.

Here is a look at the mock up of the specially designed t-shirts donated by Nike that will be on sale Saturday at the Moshofsky Center Duck Store location. The cost per shirt is $12 with all proceeds forwarded to the families of deployed troops or returning veterans.

The Ducks will be kitted out in special uniforms for the event and will hand off their jerseys to military personnel at the conclusion of the game.

The game is dedicated to the men and women of of the United States Armed forces and their families

The annual Spring Game kicks off at 2 p.m. and will be televised live on ESPN2. A radio broadcast will also be available on KUGN 590 AM (Eugene), KCUP 1230 AM (Newport), KSKR 101.1 FM (Roseburg) and 95.5 FM (Portland).

Gates into Autzen Stadium will open at 1 p.m., with a donation of three non-perishable food items requested for admission. Last year, more than 22,000 pounds of food was generated for Food for Lane County from Oregon’s final spring scrimmage.

The Duck Shop at the Mo Center will have 20 % off on Saturday for members of the military, their families and veterans. (Some exceptions in merchandise including the commerorative T-Shirts)

A big thanks to Nike for doing this and a big thanks to the members of our Armed Forces for keeping us free and the sacrifices of their families.

Go Ducks !
