The Republicans were able to hold on to 4 of 6 Senate seats in the Wisconsin legislature to continue to be the majority after a recall vote today. The public employee unions spent millions of dollars in an attempt to recall enough Republicans to allow the Democrats to control the state senate and they failed. There were a lot of long faces on MSNBC tonight. The Democrats and public employee unions were upset because the Republican governor and legislature had cut back on their ability to bankrupt the state of Wisconsin.
