Since Osama Bin Ladedn was found and shot dead in Pakistan our "friends" in Pakistan remind me of Captain Renault from the Movie Casablanca who was "Shocked, shocked" that gambling was going on in Rick's Cafe American.From the Movie Casablanca:
Captain Renault"I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!
[a croupier hands Renault a pile of money]
Croupier: Your winnings, sir.
Captain Renault: [sotto voce] Oh, thank you very much.
[aloud]
Captain Renault: Everybody out at once!
Then the report today that the Pakistan government has arrested 40 people suspected of having links to Osama bin Laden in the town of Abbottabad reminds me again of Captain Renault when he said:
"Major Strasser has been shot. Round up the usual suspects."
To our "friends" in Pakistan we will not forget this for a long long time. This is NOT the beginning of a beautiful friendship !
