Our Son is a graduate/ teaching assistant in History at a university in the Midwest. So for Spring Vacation, a few weeks ago, did he go to Florida or Cancun in Mexico for spring brake to watch the wet tee shirt contests?...... NOOOOOOOOOO, he went to Springfield Illinois to go to Abraham Lincoln's home before he was president. He also viewed Lincoln's Tomb and the Lincoln Museum.He then went to Chicago to view the site of the 1860 Republican Convention that nominated Lincoln for President.We are very proud of him!
