"Wild Bill" Clinton coming to Medford! UPDATED

Former President Bill Clinton will be in Medford, Oregon this Sunday(March 30th) campaigning for Mrs Clinton. He will speak at an event from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Hedrick Middle School on Jackson Street in Medford. UPDATED The event has been moved to the North Medford High Black Tornado Gym.

UPDATE 2

Bill Clinton gave a rambling, disjointed, long(1hr&20min) speech in Medford, Oregon this afternoon that was broadcast on three local stations. He looked tired and the speech sounded more like a lecture than a campaign speech. The partisan crowd was at times listless. Much of the speech was all about Bill! He reminded me of the William Jennings Bryan character in "Inherit The Wind." He gave the us that Democrat "Old Time Religion" but clearly he was past his prime and desperate for a second act.

A little history:

The United States Supreme Court ordered former President Clinton disbarred from practicing law before the high court in 2001.

The court did not explain its reasons, but Supreme Court disbarment often follows disbarment or suspensions in lower courts.

Effective January 19, 2001 Bill Clinton's Arkansas law license was suspended for five years and he paid a $25,000 fine. The original disbarment lawsuit was brought by a committee of the Arkansas Supreme Court.
